Creating a Healthier World

Heart to Heart's core purpose is to create a healthier world. One example of how we are achieving our mission is through an innovative partnership called "Physicians With Heart".

For the past 15 years, Heart to Heart has been impacting healthcare in the former Soviet Union with our health partners at the American Academy of Family Physicians. We have advanced the concept of family medicine, which is enhancing national health systems in many of the former Soviet republics. We have also been addressing issues related to maternal health and child welfare through collaborative efforts with local agencies.

"Physicians With Heart" is a good example of how we are using partnerships and volunteer support to build capacity for health while simultaneously striving to increase access to health for those beyond the reach of reliable healthcare services.
