Ready Relief Box being taken into Myanmar Flood zone

Responding to People in Crisis:

In May 2008 Cyclone Nargis struck the coast of Myanmar and exposed several infrastructure issues in the isolated country. The storm claimed nearly 70,000 lives and affected millions more. Despite political barriers, Heart to Heart and several humanitarian partners formed a “human chain” to help people without access to basic health services. While the government prohibited large shipments of aid from entering the country, our Ready Relief Box™ proved to be an ideal solution to the humanitarian crisis. Working with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), we were able deliver the Ready Relief Box to several locations along the hard-hit Irrawaddy Delta. The ADRA team reported that our medical aid was perfectly suited to the situation and helped them treat thousands of people in the underserved region.
