HHI in Jefferson City After Tornado

An advance assessment disaster response team left for Jefferson City early on Thursday, May 23, after a large tornado tore through the town late Wednesday night.

The team brought hygiene kits to distribute to people affected by this destructive storm. They also met with local officials and partners to determine the most effective ways to help with the recovery effort.

The team delivered some of the hygiene kits to shelters housing people who had lost their homes to the storm.
