Agustina Boehringer (DMSc, PA-C) has been named Chief Medical Officer and will oversee the day-to-day effective management of Heart to Heart International’s clinical operations, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of medical care.
Agustina is well known for her frequent HHI disaster deployments (both as a volunteer and a staff member), her participation in our disaster response workshops and her work to help the Disaster Response Team prepare for deployments.
Agustina is exceptionally well qualified for the Chief Medical Officer position. She has extensive clinical experience in emergency departments and urgent care centers in the Boston area. And in addition to her bachelor’s degree in sociology and community studies, she also earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and a doctorate in medical science with a concentration in global health and disaster medicine.
Agustina, her husband and three dogs will move from Boston to the Kansas City area next month.
Rick Randolph, who has served as the organization’s Chief Medical Officer for the past six years, will remain at HHI as the Senior Chief Medical Officer.
