TouchNet is part of Global Payments, a worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, and is headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. TouchNet provides integrated payment and credential solutions for institutions of higher education and has supported Heart to Heart International for more than 10 years with ongoing technology, system support and service to secure HHI’s online giving.
“Giving back to our community is core to our company values and culture,” said Adam McDonald, President of TouchNet. “Heart to Heart International is in our backyard and it’s rewarding to know that our technology and our staff can contribute directly to an international organization that touches millions of people around the world through the distribution of health care products and crisis response initiatives.”
In addition to providing payment devices and software, Touchnet absorbs all credit card processing fees so HHI can receive 100 percent of online donor contributions. Over the last ten years, offsetting these fees has enabled Heart to Heart International to collect more than $6M in donations.
Before we were all impacted by COVID-19, TouchNet employees volunteered between 500 and 700 combined hours every year at the Heart to Heart International distribution center or assisting with the planning and execution of HHI’s new annual fundraiser, Applause. Just recently, TouchNet employees returned to HHI’s distribution center as part of Global Payments’ Worldwide Day of Service.
In addition, TouchNet matches employee donations during the company’s annual giving campaign and designates those contributions to Heart to Heart International.
