As soon as the news of the devastating earthquake hit, Heart to Heart International immediately began coordinating with partners and mobilizing a response to the catastrophic disaster.
We’ve already sent a shipment of hygiene kits with more to come containing as many as 100,000 hygiene kits dedicated to earthquake survivors. We are also sending emergency trauma surgery supplies and preparing shipments of hygiene kits and critical medicines and supplies, including pain relief medicine, wheelchairs and crutches.
The death toll for the 7.8 magnitude earthquake has reached more than 19,000, and freezing weather conditions are further endangering survivors and complicating rescue efforts.
Your support will deliver life-saving medicines and supplies to survivors. Read more and donate to help.

Ukraine: One-year Mark
On February 24, 2022, Russian troops invaded Ukraine, forcing millions of Ukrainians to flee their homes and tearing apart families and communities across the country. HHI stepped in immediately by sending medicines, medical supplies, hygiene products and stand-alone portable medical clinics.
In the year since the invasion, we have worked with partners throughout Ukraine, including the Ministry of Health, to get critical medicines and supplies to people who need it most.
“Since our old medical clinic was burned, we were sent this mobile medical unit. We are very grateful for it. Now we have somewhere to go to for help.”
Aid Distribution Locations in Ukraine
In the past year, HHI has distributed critical medicines, medical supplies, portable medical clinics and hygiene kits to partners working throughout Ukraine, including areas that were destroyed by Russian attacks and in communities recently recaptured by Ukrainian forces.

Heart to Heart International’s Community Health Program traveled to rural Wellington, Missouri, for a one-day public health service event called Project Connect. This event connected under-resourced and uninsured adults to various services in their community. HHI administered COVID-19 and flu vaccines, distributed hygiene kits, and performed A1c tests to measure a person’s average blood sugar levels. Read more about the important services offered and how they helped people in the community.
