Tropical Storm Debby continues to wreak havoc along the Southeast coast. After making landfall in Florida as a hurricane, the storm weakened to a tropical storm but is still causing life-threatening flooding and damage. As the storm slowly makes its way up the coast, it continues to pose a significant threat to communities in Georgia and the Carolinas.
Heart to Heart International is actively coordinating with our partners on the ground to assess immediate needs and provide essential relief. In response to an urgent request, we’re sending more than 1,000 hygiene kits to support individuals and families in Florida who have been displaced or lost their homes.
This is the second hurricane our Disaster Response Team has faced this year, underscoring the urgent need for support in these increasingly challenging storm seasons. We are committed to providing aid and relief to those impacted by Tropical Storm Debby and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
