Thanks to a generous donation from DripDrop, Heart to Heart International was able to collaborate with Food For The Poor to deliver vital oral rehydration packets to countless families in Honduras.
Oral rehydration is a crucial component of healthcare, essential in health centers, medical dispensaries, homes, and particularly for the elderly. By ensuring proper hydration, it helps prevent complications and dehydration associated with various conditions. The packets are especially helpful amidst the ongoing dengue outbreak in the country.
A representative from Food For The Poor explained the benefit of this donation of DripDrop packets: “The donations we receive of this product greatly reduce our expenses and allow us to benefit many people across different programs.” Between April and June 2024, healthcare providers at Food For The Poor clinics in Honduras distributed more than 18,000 packets of this critical healthcare product.
