Hope Delivered for Women and Girls in Gaza
Hygiene plays a critical role in maintaining health and dignity, particularly during times of crisis. That’s why we’ve focused on ensuring access to essential hygiene supplies, including 1.7 million menstrual pads, for women and girls in Gaza in collaboration with trusted partners at the United Nations Population Fund.
“These kits empower women and girls by providing them with the necessities to manage their hygiene and menstrual health with dignity and privacy.”
Hurricane Beryl tore through the Caribbean and into Texas, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. As the first major hurricane of 2024, Beryl unleashed fierce winds, storm surge and torrential rain that caused widespread flooding and power outages.
HHI responded swiftly. Our team deployed to Jamaica and coordinated relief efforts with partners and government officials. We’ve already sent 10,000 hygiene kits to communities in both Jamaica and Texas. As needs become clearer, additional aid shipments are ready to deploy.
We are proud to support the Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (PHIA) fellowship program, fostering the growth of future laboratory leaders in Africa.
