The ongoing civil war in Sudan has created a humanitarian crisis, forcing countless families to flee their homes and leaving them vulnerable to disease and hardship. Heart to Heart International recognizes the urgent need for essential resources and has partnered with the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) to make a difference.
Last year, we joined forces to distribute 18,000 hygiene kits to internally displaced persons (IDPs) across Sudan. This collaborative effort focused on reaching IDPs across various regions of Sudan, providing them with essential resources to maintain personal hygiene and prevent the spread of disease.
Each kit contains a range of supplies, including soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other hygiene items, all crucial for families displaced by the ongoing conflict. These kits not only address immediate needs but also contribute to long-term health and well-being.
